Q. Which is the best time to go on the tour?
Ans. The temperature at Mansarovar is very cold during the day and below freezing at night. The best time to embark upon a journey to Mansarovar is during late August or the middle of May to the middle of October. The weather is generally stable and visibility is at its best during this time. This is the time when the rainy season ends and all mountains and river lakes are frozen. The roads are open and the weather is likely to be most stable by then.

Is Medical Certificate must?
Ans.For Mansarovar Yatra, Medical Fitness certificate (issued by registered medical practitioner) is needed. The Kailash - Mansarovar yatra involves trekking at altitudes of up to 19,500 ft. Those suffering from diabetes,high blood pressure, hemoglobin, blood sugar, asthma, heart disease, epilepsy etc are advised not to undertake the yatra. The applicants have to submit a medical certificate.

Q. How many days required for Mt. Kailash Yatra?
Ans.16 days by Toyota Landcruiser 4500 cc and 11 days by Helicopter via Nepalganj.

Q. What about communication possibilities?
Ans. Satellite phone being provided by us on use and pay basis is primarily to facilitate you during any emergency as such avoid making calls to your well wishers because charging facilities for satellite batteries are very limited and in case of excess usage, the satellite phone might be useless at the time of any emergency.

Q. What medicine should be taken?
Ans. Bring your own first aid kit with adequate medication regarding altitude sickness, nausea, dehydration and some painkillers. The medical officer accompanying the pilgrims has all the general medicines required. On the Chinese side, there is no doctor to accompany pilgrims during the parikrama of Kailash and Manasarovar. Please carry your personal medicines. Your first aid kid must include following :

* Advil, Motrin, Tylenol, and/or Aspirin, Cough Drops, Saline, Visine Eye Drops
* Multivitamins, antibiotics, band aid, Neosporin, Vicks Vapor Rub, Muscle Relaxer Cream
* Motion sickness and high altitude sickness medicine
* Multi-vitamin and vitamin C tablets are required for daily consumption as a routine
